Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection to a gunpoint robbery at a petrol station in Lees last Friday.

Officers responded to a report of the robbery at the forecourt store of Power petrol station on St John Street in Lees.

A man has approached the store, pointing what appeared to be a gun at staff members demanding money. He has left the scene with around £300 in cash.

Enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made.

Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident, and are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.

Detective Constable Daniel Berry, from GMP's Oldham District said: "This was a shocking incident, that has left staff at the store understandably shaken. It's just fortunate that no-one was injured. No-one should be subjected to such fear when they're just doing their job.

"If you or anyone you know recognises the man in the pictures, or if you have CCTV or DashCam footage of the area at the time, please get in touch. Any information, no matter how small could help.

You can contact police via LiveChat on the GMP website quoting log number785 of 15/10/21.
