Are you smarter than a 10 year old? Mahdlo are looking for quizzers

Oldham's Mahdlo Youth Zone will host the quiz at the end of March

Mahdlo Youth Zone are searching for teams to take on Junior Zone members in a battle of wits.

The quiz night will be based around 'Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old' which aired on Sky One between 2007 and 2010.

Teams of 4 will be pitted against a team of Mahdlo Junior Zone members, all of whom were born in the year Mahdlo opened, with rounds based on the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

There will be questions on English, Science, History, Geography or perhaps Music, Art and Design.

If you think you're up to the job, Mahdlo are keen to hear from you.

Claire Crossfield from Mahdlo said: "This year is a really special year for Mahdlo.  It’s been an incredible ten years of providing opportunities for young people from Chadderton, Royton, Failsworth and all across Oldham.

"We’re really excited and looking forward to a fun-filled evening."

The competition takes place on Thursday 31st March, 6:30pm – 8:30pm at The Space, Mahdlo Youth Zone, Egerton Street, Oldham.

There are a limited number of teams available and are just £25 per person which includes pie supper and refreshments. To book your teams place email events@mahdloyz.org
