Man held by police after cash, watches and jewellery were stolen from elderly pair

A 29-year-old man is currently sat in custody being held on suspicion of burglary following GMP Oldham's appeal to find a man purporting to be a plumber and targeting elderly residents in the town.
A post on the GMP Oldham Central Facebook page added: "Cash, watches and sentimental jewellery have been stolen from men in their 70s and 90s respectively during the two separate incidents reported to us this month.
"Thank you for sharing our appeal for information!"
