Man was carrying huge machete

Police officers have arrested a man after he was discovered carrying a huge machete in Manchester's Victoria station.
A post last night (Monday) on the GMP City Centre Facebook page read: "GMP Transport Unit officers were carrying out uniform and plain clothes knife crime patrols tonight at Manchester Victoria station and have arrested a male carrying this machete (pictured above).
"The male is currently in custody awaiting interview.
"Some of the dangers officers face."
