Oldham burglaries - one man charged, witness appeal issued following another

A property on Sycamore Avenue in Oldham was burgled last Friday
Detectives have appealed for information following a burglary in Oldham.
Last Friday (December 9), sometime between the hours of 1.30pm-5pm, it has been reported to police that a property on Sycamore Avenue in Oldham was burgled.
A number of items were taken from the address and an investigation is ongoing to identify the offender.
There was no one home at the time of the incident.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone in the local area who may have CCTV or doorbell/dashcam footage, or anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the offence.

Meanwhile, a man has been charged in connection with a separate burglary in Oldham.
Daniel Finnigan, aged 35, currently of no fixed abode, has been charged with one count of burglary and one count of handling stolen goods.
Finnigan has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on January 16, 2023.
