Police officers are appealing for information after a fire in nearby Ancoats.

GMP received a report of a fire at a property on Aspin Street in Ancoats, which occurred on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at approximately 6am.

Officers investigating this incident have followed up on a number of lines of enquiry and are now in a position to ask for the public's assistance.

GMP would like to speak to the man pictured (above) as they believe he could assist with enquires.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time or who may have witnessed the incident.
