'Prolific' Royton shoplifter charged and set for court tomorrow

A man from Royton described as a 'prolific shoplifter' has been been arrested and charged, and is due to make a court appearance tomorrow (Saturday).
A post on the GMP Royton & Shaw Facebook page read: "Today the Royton, Shaw and Crompton Neighbourhood Team arrested a prolific shoplifter for offences in the Royton area
"Robert Novak, 36, of High Barn Street, Royton, has been charged with five counts of shoplifting.
"He has been remanded overnight for appearance at court in the morning."
