Oldham man charged with city centre burglaries

Oldham man Lewis Taylor has been charged in connection with two burglaries in St Ann’s Square in the city centre
Greater Manchester Police’s City Centre Neighbourhood Team have charged an Oldham man with multiple offences following a number of commercial burglaries in the city centre.
On Saturday (January 14), officers responded to reports of a commercial burglary in Manchester city centre.
Lewis Taylor (aged 24), of Flora Street in Oldham, has been charged in connection with two burglaries in St Ann’s Square in the city centre.
He is scheduled to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates court next Tuesday, January 24, 2022.
Sergeant Jon Kenna, of GMP’s City Centre district, said: “We will continue to do our part in fighting this type of crime, but we need members of the public to keep talking to us – the information you share is vital in tracing offenders and recovering stolen goods.”
