On Saturday, January 14, 2023, Greater Manchester Police received reports that late in the evening of Friday, January 13, a woman was found with injuries on Roman Road in Failsworth.
Extensive enquiries suggest that the victim, a woman in her 30’s, was walking from Hollinwood Cricket Club in Oldham sometime after 10.30pm on Friday and was later seen on CCTV walking along Roman Road in the direction of Limeside Avenue, where she was found.
Detective Inspector Nicholas Helme, of GMP’s Oldham district, said: "A team of detectives are following up a number of lines of enquiry and are appealing for the public's help for more information.
