Man arrested after car collides with roundabout, leaving another man with serious injuries

A man has been arrested as police officers investigate an early hours collision in Oldham.
At approximately 3am yesterday morning (Sunday), officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision at the Big Lamp roundabout in Oldham.
A vehicle was travelling in a northerly direction along Oldham Road towards the roundabout.
The vehicle then collided with the roundabout before coming to a rest in the carriageway.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle did not remain at the scene.
One man has since been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and another man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident - or might have footage or dashcam footage - to please come forward and report it.
