Oldham police officers have been out in force over the past week in a bid to spread the message during what has been a successful Hate Crime Awareness Week.
Officers have been visiting schools and mingled in the community throughout the campaign.
A post on the GMP Oldham Central's Facebook page read: "As part of GMP’s Hate Crime awareness week, PC Miah and PCSO Ahmed visited Anchor Mill / Sonali Supermarket, Coldhurst, Oldham with their stall and materials.
"They spent some time engaging with visitors and members of the public, while dishing out some freebies.
"As #HateCrimeAwarenessWeek comes to an end, we ask you to support us in the battle against hate, whether this in your community, workplace, school or college.
"It costs nothing to be nice to someone and can have a lasting effect, as can saying or doing something nasty.
"Think before you act and let's end hateful behaviour."
Oldham Police's Neighbourhood Prevention Hub also attended three High Schools during the Hate Crime Week of Action.
Officers attended Hathershaw, Waterhead Academy and Failsworth, delivering Hate Crime Awareness with all students.
