Sheepfoot Lane collision - man in his 80s has now died

No arrests have been made following the incident on April 3
A pedestrian involved in a road traffic collision on Sheepfoot Lane in Royton has now died.
The man in his 80s was taken to hospital after the incident on Sheepfoot Lane at around 8:10am on Monday, April 3, 2023.
He suffered hip and pelvis injuries, but died on 7 April 2023.
The driver of a Hyundai i10 car remained at scene and assisted officers with enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam and mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
