Car, drugs, cash and large knife seized following police raid in Hollins

Two men have been arrested following the execution of a drugs warrant in Oldham.
Yesterday (Wednesday), officers from Oldham’s Neighbourhood Team executed a warrant at an address in Hollins.
During a search of the property, suspected class A and B drugs were seized along with a large amount of cash and a large knife.
Officers also seized a vehicle that was parked outside the address, and during a search of the vehicle officers found more drugs and cash.
Two men aged 23 and 18 have been arrested on suspicion of possessing controlled drugs with the intent to supply.
Both remain in custody.
Sergeant Rob Coggin, of Failsworth and Hollinwood Neighbourhood Team, said: “Thanks to intelligence we received, we have been able to make these arrests.
“We are committed to tackling this type of criminality that blights our communities and as a team we are dedicated to making our streets safer for those who live and work in the area.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to appeal to members of the public for information.
"If you’ve noticed any suspicious activity in your area, or you suspect drug dealing or production in your area, we will act on this information."
