The totem sign, with 'Oldham Mumps' written on it, which is set to go up for auction
Great Central Railwayana Auctions has a very special item which is set to go under the hammer next week.
Up for grabs will be a BR(M) totem sign, with 'Oldham Mumps' written on it.
Oldham Mumps, for those not of a certain age, was once the major one of Oldham's five railway stations.
The sign is still in decent condition, is of good colour, although there is a little loss of shine.
There are a few minor face and one edge chips which have been restored.
GCR Auctions have the item listed on their website, with the estimated value of between £400 and £600.
The sale date is June 3 at 10am, with the Oldham Mumps sign listed as lot number 388 out of 450.
