A 29-year-old woman was left with 'serious injuries' after she was attacked on Waterloo Street
A police investigation is under way after a woman was assaulted in Oldham yesterday (Tuesday).
A 29-year-old woman was left with 'serious injuries' after she was attacked on Waterloo Street.
The attack reportedly occurred at around 11am yesterday.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said last night: "At approximately 11am today (Tuesday, May 23), officers were called to reports of an assault on Waterloo Street in Oldham.
"A 29-year-old woman received serious injuries although these are thankfully not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests have been made at this time although enquiries are ongoing."
