Collapsed sewer work set to affect traffic from today in south Chadderton

United Utilities' work is expected to be completed by Wednesday
United Utilities will be carrying out emergency repair works on Manchester Road in Chadderton from today (Saturday).
The north bound carriageway will be closed between J22 of the M60 and Drury Lane to allow for works to take place to repair a collapsed sewer.
Work is expected to be completed by Wednesday (September 20).
Diversions will be in place along Hollinwood Avenue and Hollins Road to direct road users to alternative routes.
Bus users are advised to check with Transport for Greater Manchester for more information on changes to bus services.
