Oldham-based Little French Cinema announces its 2024 season

The Little French Cinema has announced its fourth full season for 2024.
All films (which are shown in French with English subtitles) are screened in the performance space inside Oldham Library on Greaves Street, Oldham. OL1 1AL and start at 7pm prompt - there's no advertisements and no trailers.
The 2024 season launches on Thursday, March 28 with a wine and "cheesy nibbles" reception from 6.15 followed by the screening of:
La Fille du Puisatier: The Well Digger’s Daughter
(Drama/Romance, 2011)
PG, 1hr 47mins
Directed by Daniel Auteuil
Adapted from a novel by Marcel Pagnol and starring Daniel Auteuil, the story is set in the south of France at the start of WWII.
Patricia, the youngest of the well digger’s daughters, is being courted by his middle-aged mate Felipe but she is captivated by Jacques, an unreliable younger man from an upwardly mobile bourgeois family.
