Fourteen-year-old child left with serious injuries after being hit by a car on Hollins Road

Inquiries are on-going into the circumstances of yesterday's collision
Officers in Greater Manchester Police’s Road Policing Unit appeal for information following a serious collision in Oldham.
Shortly before 2.30pm yesterday (Thursday), a car was travelling on Hollins Road in Oldham before it collided with a pedestrian, a 14-year-old child.
The vehicle failed to remain at the scene.
The child suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Inquiries are on-going into the circumstances of the collision, and officers want to hear from any witnesses or residents nearby, who may have seen anything, or captured anything on CCTV or dash cam footage at the time.
