GCSE results: Exceptional achievements at Rishworth

Rishworth School students secured exceptional results in their GCSEs.
An outstanding 92% of GCSEs were achieved at grades 4 – 9, almost 25% higher than the national average.
Rishworth is a non-selective, independent day and boarding school which welcomes students from a diverse range of abilities and backgrounds.
Through the hard work and dedication of students, under the guidance of incredible teaching staff, students celebrated attainment well above the national average in maths (24.6% higher), English (33% higher) and science (36% higher), with those students studying optional subjects such as art, modern foreign languages, physical education and drama celebrating 100% achievement.
Jessica Sheldrick, who starts in September as the first female Head at Rishworth School, praised this year’s cohort, stating: “I am so incredibly delighted to celebrate the personal, individual successes of each of our students.
"I cannot wait to welcome back our Year 12 in September into our brand new Sixth Form Centre for what promises to be an exciting and fulfilling year ahead.”
