By Sunday, December 29, you will probably be sick to the back teeth of mince pies and debating the merits of Die Hard as a true Christmas film.
So why not take some time out from the festivities at Greenfield's Off The Rails Comedy Club?
Off The Rails regular host, Mick Ferry, will be introducing the following:
From Malawi to Britain via Canada, former refugee Daliso Chaponda has appeared on everything from QI to Britain’s Got Talent, from the Royal Variety Performance to his own, critically acclaimed Radio 4 series.
A bold, fearless and energetic performer who very nearly became a vicar, but that’s a different story for another time…
Best known in her native Ireland, Eleanor Tiernan has popped up on Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience, Comedy Central and has played Latitude, Glastonbury, Montreal Just For Laughs as well as supporting Ardal O’Hanlon, Jason Manford, Jason Byrne, Reginald D. Hunter and her cousin, Tommy.
Expect acerbic wit punctuated with some very big laughs.
The evening comes complete with Canadian comic Jordan Ducharme.
The show takes place in the upstairs function room at The Royal George in Greenfield, with booking of advance tickets strongly advised from: www.saddleworthcomedy.co.uk
