Police appeal follows targeted handbag theft in Oldham town centre car park

Greater Manchester Police officers are appealing for information following a robbery which took place at the Spindles car park on Peter Street in Oldham.
The shocking incident took place shortly after 4pm yesterday (Thursday).
The suspect is believed to have followed the victim from the lift and payment area, on level 4 of the carpark, before they took the victim’s handbag.
It is believed the suspect exited the carpark through the staircase on Peter Street, onto Union Street, towards the Sainsbury’s store.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or to anyone who may have any dash-cam footage from vehicles at around this time, to get in touch with them.
