Oldham trio charged in connection with widespread fraud offences

All three men are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on July 29
Three people, all from Oldham, have been charged in connection with fraud offences across Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Cheshire.
In total, the Crown Prosecution Service authorised 37 charges.
Adal Ahmed (aged 29) is charged with 12 counts of Fraud by false representation.
Sammy Ullah (30) is charged with 11 counts of Fraud by false representation.
Vaqas Mohammed (34) is charged with 14 counts of Fraud by false representation.
All three men are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on July 29, 2025.
These charges are a result of an investigation conducted by detectives from the Economic Crime Unit into fraud offences between September 2023 and June 2024 regarding the use of hire vehicles across Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, and Cheshire regions.
