Sword, cash and drugs seized following police pursuit of suspicious car

Greater Manchester Police officers have arrested two men this morning (Thursday) in Oldham and recovered several items, including cash and drugs.
Officers on patrol spotted a suspect vehicle at approximately 9.40am on Hollins Road when a short pursuit took place before a black BMW 1 series crashed on Birchenlea Street.
During a search of the car, officers also recovered a sword.
Two men tried to flee the scene but were quickly arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, dangerous driving, failing to stop, and possession of an offensive weapon.
The two men, aged 19 and 21, remain in custody for questioning.
