Two people have been remanded into custody to appear at court next month
Two people have been charged with various drugs offences following a Greater Manchester Police raid in Oldham.
David Slater (aged 47) and Michelle Barber (52), of Siddall Street in Oldham, have both been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, three counts of of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, two counts of of being concerned in the supply of class C drugs and one count of possession of criminal property.
They have been remanded into custody to appear at court next month.
A search of the house had revealed quantities of cocaine and heroin, cash, several mobile phones, and drugs paraphernalia including digital scales, debtors lists, and snap bags.
Inspector Dan Cullum, from GMP's Operation Vulcan, said: “What made this operation particularly successful was the quality of intelligence we received from the local residents and partner agencies who were concerned about criminal activity affecting their community.
“The intelligence provided helped us not only identify the suspects, but also understand the wider impact these activities were having on local residents.
“We are committed to acting on information provided by the public, and I want to personally encourage anyone with knowledge of criminal activity in their area to come forward.
