Man detained after woman is spat on during attack in Chadderton

          A man has now been detained and police enquiries are ongoing
Greater Manchester Police officers are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Chadderton at approximately 6.35pm last Wednesday (May 14).
A woman was at a supermarket on Tweedale Way when she was allegedly spat at by an unknown man in an unprovoked attack.
Police had sought to speak to an individual as they believe he may be able to help with enquiries.
