Police appeal follows recovery of woman's body from Strinesdale reservoir

Greater Manchester Police officers are appealing for witnesses following the recovery of the body of a woman from a reservoir in Oldham.
At around 4:50pm yesterday (Sunday), emergency services responded to an incident at Strinesdale Reservoir after reports of a woman getting into difficulty in the water.
Sadly, the body of a woman was recovered.
There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen her as she entered the water, and in the moments prior, to come forward and help with enquiries.
