Collision investigators appeal for information after pedestrian seriously injured in Chadderton

Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is appealing for information following an incident in Oldham on Monday (August 25) that left a pedestrian seriously injured.

The collision, at around 9:35am on Middleton Road, Chadderton, involved a motorcyclist and pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a male in his 80s, suffered injuries described as serious but not life threatening.

The male rider of the motorcycle remained at the scene of the collision to assist officers.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, particularly anybody who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
