Police appeal follows fatal road traffic collision in Failsworth

Police responded to reports of a road traffic collision on Partington Road in Failsworth at around 3:40pm yesterday (Tuesday)
Greater Manchester Police investigators have appealed for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Failsworth.
Officers responded to reports of a road traffic collision on Partington Road in Failsworth at around 3:40pm yesterday (Tuesday).
A car collided with a motorbike and sadly, the 46-year-old male rider, died at the scene.
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
Officers from GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
Anyone with any information, dash cam or mobile phone footage is asked to contact police on 0161 856 4741 quoting log number 2309 of 09/09/2025.
