A man has been charged with a section 18 DV-related assault, in connection with an incident in October
A man has been charged following an investigation into a domestic-related assault in Oldham.
Joshua Tomlinson (aged 28), of Rhodes Top, Glossop, has been charged with a section 18 DV-related assault, in connection with an incident in October.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on November 14, 2025.
Enquiries are still ongoing and officers are encouraging anyone with any information, or who may have experienced a similar incident, to please come forward.
DC Anna Pun, from GMP’s Oldham district, said: “While we have secured a charge following an allegation of a domestic assault, we are continuing with our enquiries – and would like to know if anyone else has had similar encounters as we carry on with our work.
“This includes anyone who may have previously known the charged individual or has information that could assist the investigation.”
“We would encourage all people who are victims of domestic offences to get in touch with us – we can help you with your case and provide the appropriate support.”
