A firearm discharge incident took place at a business on Minton Street in Oldham in April 2024
Three people have been charged following an investigation into a firearm discharge incident at a business on Minton Street in Oldham in April 2024.
The following three people have been charged with conspire to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life / enable another to do so:
Mohammed Adam (aged 33), of Croft Street, Walsall
Danyal Bashir (25), of Dickinson Drive, Walsall
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons
The three have been bailed to next appear at Tameside Magistrates Court on January 16, 2026.
Detective Constable Andy Pearson, from GMP’s Oldham Challenger team, said: “We have undertaken an extensive investigation following the events of last year, which has seen considerable resources and police work put into place.
“I am glad we have now been able to secure charges in this work: incidents like this have no place on our streets and we will continue to work to ensure the appropriate actions are taken.”
