After an exhausting 190.4 miles run over seven days - his '7 in 7 in 7 Challenge' in support of MND charities - Sinfield broke down and hugged his team at the finish line on The Mall in London, before saying: “I’m knackered and delighted.”
Sinfield ran from Twickenham Stadium to the Mall to cap off his latest charity challenge, which has seen him run an ultra-marathon every day for seven days in seven cities.
The challenge began on December 1 at Headingley Rugby Stadium in Leeds with the team running to York Minster.
They then moved on to Cardiff, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Dublin and Brighton.
Each run consisted of a full marathon with one added mile to signify the extra mile people could all go to help their friends in tough times.
Sinfield's team are inspired by MND sporting warriors Rob Burrow (his former Leeds Rhinos team-mate and great friend), Ed Slater, Marcus Stewart, Stephen Darby, the late Doddie Weir, and the 5,000 other people living with MND, in the UK right now.
He has raised millions for charity since Burrow was diagnosed with MND in 2019.
The initial target was to raise £777,777 from this latest challenge.
Sinfield said beforehand that running the 40 miles (64km) each day would "be my toughest challenge".
Anyone can show their support now by clicking here, or people can text Kevin10 to 70143 to donate £10 or Kevin20 to the same number to donate £20.
The 7 in 7 in 7 Challenge supports five charities which support and care for people affected by MND and their families, and invest in research to bring us closer to effective treatments and a cure for the disease.
The main beneficiaries will be the MND Association and Leeds Hospitals Charity’s appeal to build the Rob Burrow Centre for MND in Leeds.
