Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were called out by North West Ambulance Service to assist with a motorcyclist who had come off their motorbike on the A58 near the White House in Littleborough.
The rider had fallen down the embankment and the ambulance crew needed assistance with getting the patient up the slope to the ambulance.
As the incident was on the boundary of the team’s area they called out their neighbours, Rossendale and Pendle MRT, to assist.
Once on scene the patient was secured to the ambulance scoop stretcher and team members carried the patient up the steep bank to the ambulance.
Ten Oldham MR team members and 15 Rossendale and Pendle MR team members were involved for one-and-a-half hours.
