The Puma strip is based on the home kit worn by Latics between 1966 and 1972.

Oldham first wore tangerine on 20 August 1966, when they beat Leyton Orient 3-1 at home in the Third Division.

The new kit was released exactly 60 years later and features a tangerine shirt with a white collar and blue trim.

The same detailing appears on the cuffs, with the shirt accompanied by blue shorts and tangerine socks.

White panels have also been added under the arms.

The kit is manufactured by Puma and sponsored by Bunkabin.

The shirt is made using at least 95 per cent recycled material from textile waste and other used materials as part of Puma's RE:FIBRE programme.

Adult shirts cost £65 and junior shirts £55, with shorts and socks also available. Season ticket holders receive a 10 per cent discount.

The kit went on sale at the Athletic Store and online on Thursday 20 August.

Oldham are due to wear the strip for the first time away at Colchester United on Saturday.

Tangerine remained Oldham's home colour for six seasons following its introduction in 1966 before the club returned to blue in 1972.

The third strip completes Oldham's 2026/27 kit collection. The club's away kit took inspiration from Boundary Park's ‘Ice Station Zebra’ nickname.
