More than 120 girls took part in the tournament
Saddleworth 3Ds Under-12 girls' football team hosted a hugely successful football tournament alongside Rochdale Ladies AFC over the weekend.
In what was seen as a great step forward for the development of girls football in the area, over 120 girls took part.
The winners of the under-12s tournament were Todmorden Warriors, who scraped victory following a dramatic penalty shoot-out against Uppermill.

The winner of the under-11s was the joint host Rochdale AFC Ladies, who beat Haslingden Falcons in a nail-biting final.
The organisers were female, some of the coaches were female and so were the referees.
There were so many smiles - it was such a fantastic day for the development of girls’ football in the area.
The event was made possible thanks to generous sponsorship from Oldham-owned family businesses Lollipop 4D Baby Scans (www.lollipop4dbabyscans.co.uk) and Benchmaster.
