Spindles show their support for Dr Kershaw's Colour Blast 2018!

Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre have proudly announced that they will be this year’s headline sponsors for the 2018 Dr Kershaw’s Colour Blast.

The Colour Blast, staged in association with Revolution 96.2, will be taking place for the fourth year running in Alexandra Park on Saturday, September 23.

The event is a fantastic way to raise funds for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice in Oldham, with entrants starting the day in white t-shirts and finishing the race covered in a rainbow of paint colours.

Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre has been working in partnership with Dr Kershaw’s Hospice for the last two years, providing support in raising funds and awareness of the amazing work the hospice carries out in the Oldham community.

Shopping Centre Manager Mike Flanagan said: “We are pleased to be able to show the Centre’s continuing support of this fantastic charity through our involvement in this event.

“We’ve never supported a charity before as such, but recently we’ve had a number of members of the public and members of staff at the shopping centre who have been supported by Dr Kershaw’s.”

Shopping Centre Marketing and Tenant Liaison Manager Katie Bennett added: “We decided to be one of the headline sponsors for the Colour Blast this year, and we’re really excited about it.

“It’s going to be a great, fun event, and another way the shopping centre can show its support for such an amazing charity.”
