Support Parkinson's UK at an evening of comedy, brass and song - and a proper pie supper!

On September 13, the Oldham Branch of Parkinsons UK will be holding their annual Evening of Comedy, Brass and Song.

This will be their third year of holding the event and the team expect to draw the same packed audiences as previously.

Those at the North Chadderton Social and Bowling Club on the night will enjoy fantastic performances from guitar and vocalist Chris Perry and singer Dave Noble, alongside compere and vocalist Jackie Dijon.

For those who love a bit of brass, ten-piece ensemble Phoenix Brass are not to be missed.

The evening's funds will go towards supporting the Oldham branch of Parkinson's UK.

This is a charity devoted to changing attitudes towards, supporting individuals through, and finding a cure for, Parkinson's disease.

The Oldham branch is a totally voluntary service providing sufferers and their families in the Oldham area with support and information in dealing with this difficult condition.

Funds also go towards provision of a local specialist nurse in the borough.

With two people diagnosed with Parkinson's in the UK ever hour, this is a wonderful way to donate to a worthwhile cause.

The event starts at 7:30pm and tickets are £10, including a pie supper.
