Your group's chance to WIN over £1,000 worth of fireworks!

Date published: 09 October 2018

Charities and non-profit organisations are being invited to enter a competition to win fireworks worth in excess of £1250 RRP by Huddersfield-based Black Cat Fireworks.

The firm, which has been based in Huddersfield since 1891, has supported a variety of charities over the years including Kirkwood Hospice and Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

The free-to-enter competition is open to all UK-based charities and non-profit organisations, with one lucky organisation winning a batch of fireworks to help raise money for their cause.

Nominations should be sent by email: to sales@blackcatfireworks.co.uk with the subject line “Win a Display Competition”.

Organisations can nominate themselves, but members of the public are also encouraged to nominate on behalf of their favourite causes, too.

The closing date for the competition is this Sunday (October 14).

Black Cat Fireworks will then announce the shortlisted nominees on its Facebook and Twitter pages, encouraging people to vote for their chosen charity.

The two with the highest number of votes will then go head to head in the final week of voting, with the winner set to be announced on Friday, November 2.

UK Managing Director Austin Brown said: “Black Cat Fireworks is renowned for exciting, display quality products, and we’re delighted to be in a position to help one very worthy charitable organisation give a Bonfire Night to remember, in turn helping them to raise invaluable funds for their organisation."
