Young dancers took to the stage at the sell-out show at Chadderton Town Hall, to raise money for Dr Kershaw's Hospice and highlight talent from the school.

Jayne Barnes Dance based on Mills Road in Chadderton staged a dance spectacular on Saturday 18th May and managed to raise £1263 for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.

The show, featured students of the school and included tap, jazz and musical theatre. The young talent danced to the likes of The Greatest Showman and 42nd Street.

Jayne Barnes said, “The dancers did amazing, we are so proud of them and it makes it so much more special when it’s for Something like this. We’ve supported the hospice a few times now and it means a lot for us to help and get involved.

We are thrilled. The event went amazingly well and it helped raise awareness. We had a rep there to talk about the hospice at the start of the show.”

The event included a raffle with parents and friends of the dance school that brought cakes and sweets to sell and raise even more money.
