Bohle MD Dave Broxton and Purchasing Manager Chanel Paul visited the Ancora Project hub inside Oldham Library to present a donation cheque to Ancora staff.

The Ancora Project aims to provide immediate help and ongoing support to local people who are experiencing crisis.

Ancora offer support on a variety of issues and people can access help by presenting at hubs around the area.

Speaking on Bohle’s relationship with Ancora, Mr Broxton said: “Bohle has a long history of supporting local charities and organisations through our CSR programme.

"At a time when there is a perfect storm of reduced welfare funding and increased demand for support, we are delighted to continue our partnership with the Ancora team, who offer immediate access to practical help and ongoing support to local people in crisis situations.”

Bohle Ltd is in its fourth year of supporting Keyring, who support vulnerable local people as well as the Ancora Project.

Speaking about Bohle’s support, Suzy Pabla from Ancora added: “Ancora is committed to helping as many people as we can in Oldham.

"Everything we do is about building relationships and making things better for the longer term.

"Bohle’s support evidences the fact that they are a company looking to make a difference in their local community. Their support goes beyond funding, they have a real interest in supporting our work.”

The Ancora Project was founded in 2016 and last year directly helped nearly 1,500 people, with demand forecast to increase.

The charity is actively seeking corporate partnerships and details can be found at the Ancora Project website: www.ancoraoldham.com
