It's all going on at the Millgate Arts Centre

You can almost feel the mounting excitement as you arrive at the iconic Millgate Art Centre for the review of their new season.

The enthusiasm of the dedicated team of volunteers who run Saddleworth’s community theatre in Delph is truly infectious.

And no wonder - they really do go the extra mile providing quality theatre, live music, comedy, cabaret, film and entertainment.

Here’s what's on the menu:

* Saddleworth Players offer five glorious diverse productions with the opport to subscribe to a season.

Or send postal applications with a cheque for £50 (£45 before July 31) each subscribers ticket to: Secretary, Millgate Arts Centre, Stoneswood Road,Delph OL3 5DY.

* Saddleworth Film Society: with 10 films in the season, the most cost effective money saving option is £55 which helps support the society’s ongoing success.

Memberships can be obtained in advance via: www.millgateartscentre.co.uk phone, or at box office at the door.

* National Theatre Live: Dhows are released every month with 10 weeks notice.

First film is Alia on Friday and Saturday, September 19-20, costs £12.50 (£11 to Saddleworth players subscribers and Film Society members).

* Saddleworth Concerts Society 50th anniversary season, studded with four concerts and save with a season ticket by booking early.
