ALAN GRIFFITHS
Passed away, peacefully, at Dr Kershaw's Hospice on 8th January 2025 aged 87 years.
The dearly loved husband of Irene, much loved dad of Janet & Carol, dear father in law of Ian & Peter, loving grandad of Laura, Joshua & Katie and a dear great grandad.
Alan was a former Mayor of Oldham and instrumental in the foundation of the Youth Council together with the re-establishment of Shaw and Crompton Parish Council.
Service at The United Reformed Church Rochdale Road, Shaw on Wednesday 29th January at 12:45pm prior to committal at Oldham Crematorium , Hollinwood.
