The UCO open day will be of interest to those considering pursuing a career working with children and young people
The Children and Young People programmes at University Campus Oldham are hosting a Higher Education open evening event.
The event takes place between 4-6pm on Wednesday, June 27, at UCO on University Way, Oldham.
The open day will be of interest to those considering pursuing a career working with children and young people.
It will also be of interest to people who are already working with children and young people and would like to further their career prospects and qualifications.
The event will help you to discover more about how the Children and Young People Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) Top Up courses support professional practice.
Go along, meet students and hear students’ stories about how the course has shaped their professional careers.
The event will provide an opportunity to explore the part-time and full-time study options available to suit your needs, and to help you to take the next step in your career.
The course enables students to develop the specialist knowledge and skills required for effective professional practice within a range of sectors that work with children and young people.
Students on the degree courses study exciting, relevant topics, including child development, mental health and well-being, education, leadership and management, supporting troubled families and safeguarding.
All of these help students in preparing them for the Children and Young People workforce.
