Dobcross Youth Band joined forces with Norwegian youth ensemble Skodvin Skulemusikk for a special concert at Dobcross Band Club celebrating international friendship and youth brass music.
The event formed part of Skodvin Skulemusikk's 50th anniversary visit to the UK.
The concert brought together young musicians from England and Norway in an evening of performances showcasing current competition and concert programmes.
Skodvin Skulemusikk performed their own choice test piece ahead of the forthcoming Norwegian National Youth Championships.
Dobcross Youth Band also took to the stage following its recent success at the Whit Friday band contests. The programme included solo performances by Freya on flugelhorn performing Pater Noster and James on solo euphonium performing Varied Mood.
The evening concluded with both ensembles combining for a massed bands performance led by musical directors Henning and James.
Dobcross Youth Band described the concert as a celebration of friendship, achievement and the future of brass banding across Europe, marking a significant moment in Skodvin Skulemusikk's anniversary tour.
