Get along to the Vestacare Stadium next Tuesday
Oldham RL Club has called an open meeting for fans at the Vestacare Stadium next Tuesday (December 4), starting at 7pm.
In a statement, the club says: "As we hit a crucial part of the club year - signing players, building a squad, selling season tickets and generally getting ready for the 2019 season - it is appropriate that we give supporters a 'taste' of what's going on behind the scenes and what we plan and hope to achieve off the field in the coming year.
"We are also encouraging fans to come up with ideas for improving attendances, income and our engagement with young supporters in particular.
"It's time to have your say and your input.
"The players will be training at the Vestacare on the same night and we hope to have Scott Naylor on stage for a short time to answer your questions and talk about the new-look squad that is coming together nicely.
"The forum will be led by Julie Collins, a Roughyeds fan who is managing director of Purpose Marketing and possesses a wealth of knowledge within business, sales and marketing.
"Behind her she has 30 years of practical experience in retail, education, public sector, wholesale and professional services.
"With her on stage will be Anne Kearns, who has done a wonderful job as 'front of house' and office manager during chairman Chris Hamilton's enforced absence on sick leave, plus personnel from our media department and maybe others who beaver away behind the scenes with total dedication and commitment.
"Hope to see you on the night . . . the more the merrier!"
