WelliFest and the Saddleworth Show are all set for lift-off!

Manchester Ska Foundation front-man Lee will be starring at WelliFest on Saturday
Tomorrow (Friday) will see the final big preparation ahead of a record-busting WelliFest Music Festival.
On Saturday, Well-i-hole Farm will be electric with a sell out crowd rocking to bands like Manchester Ska Foundation and Foo Fighterz.
There are several new as well as old favourite food providers and a new partnership with JW Lees brewery which will ensure everyone is well fed and watered.
It also looks like the weather gods have been very kind to the organisers this year, adding to everyone's enjoyment.
The Saddleworth Show follows on Sunday and judging by the response, it too will be a bumper showpiece event.
There are traditional favourites such as the Dog Area featuring this year retrieval, obedience and agigilty as well as the usual dog show, so don't forget bring pooch out for the day.
There is also the ever popular duck race with big prizes to be won.
This year sees several new attractions including the chance to train with light sabers (release the inner Jedi), giant lasermazel, fun photo booth, face painting plus a second arena featuring aerial dance, dance workshops, martial arts and yoga.
All this plus the youth music showcase, country corner, pony rides and fairground (pictured above).
Both events are run by Rotary Saddleworth and Rotary Oldham Metro, with the help of dozens of volunteers from community groups, Dovestones WI, ATC and individual families and friends.
Rotary would like to give a huge thanks to all of them and to the loyal group of sponsors, who help organisers raise thousands of pounds for local good causes and many charities.
Last year £29,000 was raised, which has helped hundreds across the Oldham Borough and beyond.
Organisers hope that thanks to everyone attending, all sponsors and volunteers, even more funds can be raised to extend the help organisers are able to provide.
