Newhey Carpets, a leading British manufacturer of contract carpets for the hotel, leisure and entertainment sectors, has played a role in the £4million, 18-month refurbishment programme of Oakley Hall Hotel, Basingstoke.
Dating back to 1795, Oakley Hall Hotel is a Grade Two listed Georgian country manor with a distinguished and fascinating history.
The building is now home to striking bespoke carpets from Newhey Carpets, in Gordon Street.
Newhey Carpets, which has been trading for 40 years, uses a mix of yarns and colours to develop unique solutions for commercial interior designers to deliver reliable, high performance products to its global customer base.
The company is also at the forefront of the carpet sector in terms of reducing its carbon footprint through the development of low-energy, sustainable products such as the revolutionary “Evobac” which utilises a unique, solvent-free application process to create a backing system made from 100 per cent recycled plastic bottles.
