AEROSOL and chemicals manufacturer James Briggs has done a major partnership deal with international distributor Zettex Europe BV.
The deal will see Briggs become Zettex’s sole product manufacturer, extending its reach into Zettex’s customer network in Europe and the Middle East.
Based in the Netherlands, Zettex distributes adhesives, aerosols and cleaning products, with a particular focus on the construction and automotive markets. Expansion into the Middle East and Europe marks James Briggs’ second entry into a new geographical market in recent months. Last September, it secured a deal with Ireland’s largest automotive distributor, PR Reilly. It also sees the manufacturer make significant strides into the adhesives market.
Tim Pugh, chief executive of James Briggs, said: “It’s fitting that we end an exceptional 12 months for James Briggs by announcing this collaboration with such a distinguished partner. The partnership will provide the foundations for major international growth this year.”
James Briggs is one of the largest manufacturers of aerosol and consumer chemicals in Europe.
The business, founded in 1830, designs, formulates and manufactures a wide range of products including paints, lubricants, cleaning fluids and polishes for automotive, industrial, hygiene and other sectors.
