JUST a day after a huge fire ripped through Maple Mill, fire crews were back tackling a blaze in a container on the site which had cigarette lighters inside.
Frefighters were alerted to the incident off Cardwell Street at 7.15pm on Saturday.
Crews said an unlocked metal ship container, which had what was described as promotional cigarette lighters inside, is believed to have been set on fire by youths.
Police are understood to have later apprehended a youth who had lighters in his pockets.
It took the crews around two hours to put out the fire.
Greater Manchester Police are now investigating.
