'Emergency' halts trams

A MEDICAL emergency at Oldham Central saw trams halted for a brief time yesterday.
No trams were running between Oldham Mumps and Westwood while the emergency was dealt with at around 10.30am. No details were released as to the nature of the incident, despite Chronicle requests.
Trams still ran from Rochdale to Oldham Mumps and from Westwood to Exchange Square before a full service resumed soon after.
