JODI Eyre on stage at Miss Galaxy England
SHAW beauty Jodi Eyre believes in reaching for the stars and has a Miss Galaxy accolade to prove it.
Jodi (24) was crowned third runner-up in the Miss Galaxy England competition held in Chorley, which was the decider for the national title.
Jodi, who works as a personal banking advisor for Lloyds and as a nurse at Manchester Royal Infirmary at weekends, was effectively fourth in the pageant and says she's very proud of her achievements.
"I was really happy with my placing," said Jodi who was competing as Miss Galaxy North and is a previous Miss Manchester winner.
"There were 60 girls taking part and I was hoping to be in the top 10 so to be in the top five was amazing. I'm definitely going to do it again next year. I'm planning on getting some more training from America and doing more charity work in preparation."
